Put Your Marine Business on the Map
Make it easier for boat owners to discover your business through SmartBoat’s interactive Hybrid Map. Whether you operate a fuel dock, marina, restaurant, chandlery, boatyard, repair workshop or another marine service, you can add your business details for free using our Business Portal. Optional paid add-ons are available for businesses that want additional promotional opportunities.

Monitor onboard communications
SmartBoatOS monitors onboard communications across NMEA 2000, OneNet, Wi-Fi and MQTT. NMEA 0183 support is available through SmartBox Core only.
Create
Build interfaces for your equipment
Develop an HTML5 interface, or use the SmartBoat Page Builder with more than 60 monitoring, display and control widgets to create tailored screens, including for legacy equipment.
Test
Develop and verify with your own equipment
Use the Partner Portal web app’s simulator and external control interface to test your interfaces directly with your equipment.
THREE LEVELS OF PARTICIPATION
SmartBoat Ready — Bronze, Silver and Gold
Manufacturers can begin by sharing useful product information, progress to integrated monitoring and control, and ultimately obtain SmartBoat-approved verification. Each level builds on the previous one.
BRONZE — Discoverable
Product information, specifications, manuals, installation guides, service information and part numbers. A Bronze listing does not imply monitoring or control compatibility.
SILVER — Integrated
Everything in Bronze, plus a downloadable monitoring and control skin for supported equipment. A Silver integration is available but is not necessarily independently verified.
GOLD — Verified
Everything in Silver, plus testing against a structured SmartBoatOS protocol. Evidence is reviewed and Gold status is formally approved by the SmartBoat team.
How Gold works: Testing may be conducted by the manufacturer, SmartBoat or an authorised dealer, refitter or installer. The SmartBoat team reviews the documented results and confirms approval for the tested product and applicable versions.

Selected partner equipment may also be installed aboard ZoZo, SmartBoat’s 63-foot test yacht based in Titusville, Florida, for real-world testing and assessment towards SmartBoat Ready Gold approval.
ZoZo will also serve as a floating demonstration platform, with plans to attend boat shows and marine industry events in the coming years, showcasing SmartBoatOS and participating partners’ equipment to boat owners, builders and industry professionals. We also plan to feature participating hardware manufacturers’ products through SmartBoat’s social media channels and wider marketing activities, helping bring their innovations to the attention of the marine community.

A straightforward route to SmartBoat Ready
1. Join the community
Introduce your products and add the relevant catalogue information and documentation.
2. Build your integration
Use the Partner Portal and agreed interface requirements to create, customise and test supported monitoring and control functions.
3. Choose your level
Remain at Bronze, offer an integration at Silver, or submit structured test evidence for SmartBoat team review and Gold approval.
Partner applications shipped with SmartBoatOS, and optional partner promotion or advertising, are potential commercial arrangements and are subject to separate agreement.
