SMARTBOATOS | SERVICE & MAINTENANCE
Never start a service from scratch again.
Know what’s due. Know what’s needed. Know what was done.

A year after the last service, it’s easy to forget the correct filter, the tools you used or how you completed the job. SmartBoatOS keeps service schedules, instructions, parts, inventory and history together — so the next service is easier, whether you do it yourself or use a technician.
A simpler service workflow
From the first reminder to the completed report, the right information stays with the boat — not scattered across lockers, manuals and old invoices.

Why it matters
Never start from scratch
Keep what you learned last time: the tools, parts, step-by-step instructions, photographs, documents and notes needed to repeat a job correctly.
Bring in expert information
Download available service details with compatible equipment from the Community or Partner Catalogue, or create your own procedures.
Prepare before starting
See what is due, check available spares, identify missing parts and plan the work before dismantling anything.
Maintenance informed by real equipment data
Set service intervals by calendar time, equipment runtime or whichever comes first. Where the appropriate hardware data is available, values such as operating hours or water pressure can help inform maintenance decisions — for example, assessing the condition of filters rather than relying only on a fixed date.
Configured reminders can be shared with authorised technicians, mechanics or equipment suppliers, helping them plan the work while the owner stays informed.
Know what’s needed — and where it is
Link service items to onboard inventory: keep quantities, part numbers and storage locations for spares such as impellers and filters. Where provided, supplier details, purchase links and recorded prices make it easier to order what is missing and understand likely costs. Inventory information can also be accessed through supported remote screens or the user web portal.
A record you can use — and share
After the job, record who completed it, when, and any notes. Maintain a service history and generate shareable or printable PDF service instructions and history reports. That record is useful to the owner, the next technician and anyone sharing responsibility for the vessel.
A valuable record for resale and insurance
When it’s time to sell, share documented service histories with prospective buyers, brokers or surveyors to show what work was completed, when and by whom. The same records can help answer insurers’ questions about upkeep, renewals or claims. A clear maintenance history builds confidence and makes supporting information easier to find — without guaranteeing a particular valuation or insurance outcome.
For fleet operators: five boats, one clear way to manage them

Different boats bring different engines, systems and maintenance requirements. Keeping each vessel’s procedures, parts and service intervals documented helps technicians work consistently, reduces reliance on one person’s memory and makes it easier to coordinate visits.
See what’s due
Review service requirements across supported vessels and identify work that needs scheduling.
Repeat the right procedure
Give technicians access to the parts, tools and instructions associated with each boat and item of equipment.
Report back clearly
Keep completion details and notes together, with PDF service histories and instructions available to share with fleet managers, owners or boat-share groups.
For hardware manufacturers: support equipment throughout its life
Through the Partner Portal, manufacturers can supply service intervals, OEM parts and part numbers, manuals, tools and instructions with compatible equipment. Owners can bring this information into SmartBoatOS when downloading that equipment from the catalogues.
Correct parts and guidance
Make manufacturer-defined procedures and genuine part identifiers easier for customers to find.
A route to parts purchasing
Where supplied, include links to replacement components and pricing information to simplify sourcing.
Better service compliance
Clear instructions, reminders and supported equipment-data links can help owners follow recommended servicing and reduce avoidable support questions.
Less searching. Less guesswork. More boating.
SmartBoatOS connects what needs servicing with what it takes to complete the job — and keeps the record for next time.
